Relax in its heated saline pool. Enjoy a daily workout in the well-equipped exercise spaces. Gather with family and neighbors by the fireplace in the Great Room.
Set in one of the most tranquil spots in the forest, The Ramble’s architecturally striking Living Well Center opened its doors to residents in early 2009 and soon after received an Honor Citation from the American Institute of Architects. The first of its kind in Asheville, it is an innovative take on George W. Vanderbilt’s revolutionary vision for sustainability. Designed as the community’s “indoor living room” by renowned New York architectural firm Ike Kligerman Barkley, the center is a magnet for residents seeking a healthful outlet and quiet retreat.
Directed by experienced Residential Community Associate Corey Black, The Living Well Center offers regularly scheduled wellness classes and social events. Click here to read about a current wellness class taught by All-American Triathlete Andy Stenberg.
